She moved at unit # 4 a year ago. She had inherited the unit from her
mother. Second day after moving, she crashed into five cars
across the street before finally making it into her parking space.
Tearing a wooden divider. Almost hitting our car.
Same evening she broke her tail lights against the school fence driving
in reverse. I guess. The red plastic pieces of her tail lights were all
over the driving area. I deducted she had gone to get more wine after
the car crashing in the street.
One day…or two days…something was amiss…my neighbor called a
relative of hers inquiring if she was OK. When Susan learned about it…
next day I guess. She was furious. She screamed at my neighbor telling
her to leave her alone and mind her own business. She did the same to
a second neighbor and to us. We shall never do anything to
upset you again. We said. We were just…trying to help.
And it went on and on as above for a year. Every time she was hitting
some car who knows where…her car was getting short of bumpers…
fenders…more lights…one day I found her crying holding herself
by the chicken wire school fence. I felt so sorry for her. Her cat had died
that morning. Finally a couple of weeks ago, her body was found in her
living room. A neighbor who was moving noticed the back door open
two days in a row…with the t.v. set on…he thought something had
happened, called police. They came along with the fire department
and an ambulance. The forensic said she had been dead around seven
days prior to that day.. And what can I say…no one was going to tell her
what to do or what not to do.
