During the daylight we work the land. Plant trees. Harvest. Having the
sun as a huge candle. See the mountains, the ocean. Grill and eat and
drink. See flowers, children playing…beautiful Bertha bathing in the
river. Take a nap under the tree while the cicadas sing Summer time.
Ride your hose back home. Enjoy your frugal dinner and go to bed.
Ah…and here lies the adventure…now that night is upon your eyes…
Bertha in your arms and both are in this cot naked looking at the stars.
Which obviously could not see during the day.
It feels as if you could able to touch them. That’s the way it feels when
there are not artificial lights around you. You have earned your night
of pleasure and rest. The owl is out, so are the cricket and the wolf.
Life couldn’t be better. Bertha’s laughter and conversation. Her
proximity only a volcano would compare to.
Life is good. May the stars bless you brother. And have a good night.
