Today was a gloomy day. The sun shone bright and everything.

But a calamity happened to one of my neighbors.

As I was walking home, I saw an ambulance taking her wife to the

hospital. Where else? The last steps into the house felt heavy. There

was nothing I could have said. Sat on the sofa and slouched myself.

A feeling of emptiness came to me…who is next…? My hunger was

botched. I aimed for a strong one. Drank it and relax outside by the

tree. The evening was fresh and pleasant. I turned on the radio to

listen to classical music that always soothes my mind.

Had a second one. One inch taller. My nerves calmed down.

Went inside. Took a shower and went to bed.
