Had a wonderful time at Frank’s daughter Liza’s house.

He went to spend the day with her and her three daughters, along

with his friend Jose. Whom is visiting him. Since Thursday. They have

been having a great time talking about things past and present.

Jose is also a widower. Has two grown children who live in México City.

I told you their story. They both grew in the same neighborhood,

graduated from High School and both are War veterans. Jose moved to

México after being offered a good job. He met his future wife there

and always kept in touch with Frank. They are more than friends.

They love each other as brothers. They spent today’s time laughing,

seeing and playing with Liza’s daughters…running in the backyard

with Chico chasing them and that ball they threw at each other.

Had fish for lunch and cold beer. Took a break to play cheese.

And then sat back and relax to enjoy a Cuban cigar which Jose had

brought from México City. As night approached, they drank some coffe

before driving back to the cabin. Where they would have a large salad

a bottle of white wine and would sit at the porch. To admire the moon,

listen to crickets, the owl somewhere and having Chico for more

company. Talk some more, have a strong one, wash their faces and get

some sleep. Jose is sleeping on a cot. Ten feet from the chimney and

next to a window that lets air fresh in.

That’s how two good friends have spent some time together. Jose is

going back home on Thursday. It’s been a great time.

Happy Father’s Day for both.
