I’m in my little room playing my guitar. I’m a bit rusty. A lot. Drinking
cold sparkling water. Today’s weather is the harbinger of a hot Summer
It’s all right. Winter was cold…windy…cloudy…perfect.
We have no water, we’re getting ready for extinction. It’s ok too.
Everything is happening according to the laws of Nature, but, but Man
is worsening things. But I’m digressing.
Happens, I’m minding my own business in peace and quiet and Death
stops by…I’m taken aback for a minute. Yes, Life is standing at my back.
Keeping as usual an eye on one of her favorites.
Her arms are as wide as the sky and warm as the sun. And as soon as
Death shows up, my wonderful beautiful Life shields me from her.
Still, Death and I have a short conversation. Since her time is precious
as Life, she’s forced to gutturally babble a deep terrifying bass sound.
For a blink of an eye she chills my spine. But then again, Life takes
that uncomfortable moment away. Death understands she is incapable
of crossing the threshold into my little room. Life is sustained on its
orbit at all times by the sun. Looking after everyone. Until a
solar eclipse takes place and Death prevails.
Thank you, Mother Life.
