It’s wonderful we found this room in the roof to live for awhile.
We are some of God knows how many displaced people all over.
But we are good. We have a shower. Small kitchen. And a tight space
to rest and talk. We also have all the fresh air with our door wide open.
We have our cat and my old guitar to sing you that tune you like.
And that’s plenty for the two of us. We also enjoy being capable of
watching the stars due to the lack of artificial lighting in this
neighborhood. We are lucky. We haven’t gotten sick from this last
unfortunate Pandemic. Yes, some friends weren’t as lucky. We missed
them badly. Sweet love, lay on my arm. Let me count your freckles one
more time. Read a little to me. Then I’ll read to you. Gordo loves to be
in the middle of us. He is a silly willy shameless cat. And we love him.
I hope to do good tomorrow in my job interview. I feel confident and
capable about it. We shall be OK, my love. We should not despair.
In eight months time when our baby is born, we shall be doing better.
I promise you my love. Hold to me. You are the lighthouse of my
dreams. I love you.
