I came early today. By myself. Lobo and Rosa are at home.
Wanted to clean and wash my Mama’s stone. Before leaving pretty
flowers next to it. There is a Posada in my block and we the neighbors
are putting everything together. We’re are going to have piñatas…fruit
Ponche…with Ron on the side for those who wanted some in it…
it’s been a hectic week planning everything. Children are excited and
looking forward to that party. Being Christmas days, I wanted to do the
above and engage in some conversation with my Mama’s bones.
Drink some of my Tequila with a couple of lemon wedges and salt.
I brought a can of tuna for Speedy the feral cat. The wind is chilly and
strong. After cleaning and drinking my Tequila and having a smoke, I
shall go home and finish the Posada arrangements and food.
I have everything ready in the refrigerator to make my famous shrimp
ceviche. It’s pretty simple. But folks tell me I do it pretty good.
One day I shall give the recipe away. Maybe is the ton of garlic I use…
or the ton of onions I dice…or the gallon of olive oil I finish it with.
Regardless of the ingredients which are essential, I do it with all my
love. Maybe that’s the touch. But excuse me while I clean an talk.
Now is time for my Tequila break and I’ll go home.
Dear folks, may you have a warm Christmas in company of your loved
ones. Love.
